What do I know about myself?

This isn’t about liking ice cream or not liking the color green.  This is about knowing your beliefs, convictions, the guiding principles that shape your life.   Here are some suggestions to help you get started on the fascinating adventure of self-awareness.

  • What are your foundational beliefs?
  • What convictions are above compromise?
  • What values do you honor in yourself?
  • What talents do you openly share with others?

Here’s what I discovered.  The person that I was in the past is not who I am today.  The values and beliefs I picked up in childhood were not in keeping with who  and what I wanted to be known for.  That’s not to say they were bad or misdirected, they were merely outdated.

In order for me to tap into my potential, I had to be willing to look beyond what I knew  about myself and my life.

This adventure of self-discovery has been so exciting – and  I didn’t even have to pack for it! How cool is that?  No luggage fees, no carry-on!  Just sit back, relax and begin the journey inward and discover who you really are – today, right now!

Would love to hear your thoughts on this question.
