Conundrum – what a great word!

A client used conundrum in a recent coaching session.  It’s not a word I commonly use and was struck with how perfectly the word suited her situation.  She was grappling with a problem that that could only be answered with conjecture…in other words, the answer could easily change when she had additional information.

As a person, a business owner, a human being moving through this adventure called life, wouldn’t it save time, money and stress if you knew which thoughts and actions were the ones that are absolute – the ones that are without any doubt the exact next action you need to take?

Of course it would be nice….and it isn’t going to happen.  Occasionally, yes, most of the time, no.  That’ just the way it is.  What can we do?  Here’s what I’ve discovered.  It’s an inside job.  When you are aware, alert and listen to what I refer to as your self-intelligence, then you significantly reduce the amount of wasted time, money and energy.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it?  Yes, it is simple and it is not easy.  Blasting through an action-packed day does not seem to be in alignment with the taking time to tap into your self-intelligence.  And yet, taking a 60-second mental moment can give you just what you need to clear the plethora of thoughts crowding for your attention.

I invite you to try this for 5 days – several times a day and then share your results with me.  I expect you will be as surprised as I was!

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
