Are You Ready to Change Your Thinking?

Do I have a story for you!

You know how sometimes you hear a story and think “Not possible – someone dreamed this up.” Well, this one is true and I could not stop laughing at the visuals that came to mind.

Imagine this – you are a master chef; talented, creative and a reputation beyond compare. In your personal kitchen, you are preparing a feast with love and attention in every step of the preparation – nothing is left to chance. It’s time to ‘flatten’ the chicken breasts which will then be stuffed, rolled, breaded and baked to perfection. But wait, where is your special rubber mallet used for beating those breasts into submission? After searching high and low to no avail, it’s time to tune into your creative thinking – and poof – the idea is born.

You double wrap the chicken breasts, carefully measure and place said chicken on the driveway. You then step into your mighty Ram Van and carefully back out of the garage…right over the previously plump breasts. Wall-lah – you have perfectly flat breasts ready to be turned into the sumptuous main fare.

But wait, there’s more! After savoring the tender chicken, your guests rave and ask for your secret. Do you share your Ram Van drive-over flattening technique or merely smile?

That brings us to your own challenges in life and in business. Are you looking at a different approach to solve the same issues? Or are you applying the same old remedy that hasn’t generated great results? What can you do to change your results? Changing your thinking is the first step. Create a new technique or tactic second. And third, implement what you have created. Let me know if you need to borrow my ‘Ram Van’.
